"Sculpture" et "modelage" illustrent l'importance donnee a la taille de la pierre dans les civilisations romaine, grec et egyptienne dont la culture francaise est heritiere. Nous proposons aux enfants bilingues de vivre l'experience du sculpteur/modeleur durant ces vacances. Organisé et animé par une spécialiste!
This holiday workshop for French-speaking children aims to introduce children to the classical world of sculpture and clay modeling. During the week, children will work with clay and learn stories and techniques from the Classic Greek, Roman and Egyptian times. The workshop is organised by Emilie, who is a professional storyteller and artist!
Suitable for ages 6 & up. Children must be able to understand and speak French.
Dates - 3 options:
Lundi 18 juillet - Vendredi 23 juillet (5 jours, $200)
Lundi 18 juillet - Mercredi 20 juillet (3 jours, $150)
Mercredi 20 juillet - Vendredi 22 juillet (3 jours, $150)
Time: 10am - 5pm each day
Discount for additional siblings: $150 for 5 days; $120 for 3 days.
Children to bring a packed lunch, morning tea and afternoon tea, drink bottle and clothing appropriate for the season that can get dirty.
The sessions will take place at the Alliance Francaise Dunedin EXCEPT Wednesday, which will be at the Otago Museum.
